…Okay, I have to admit that I ate my usual oatmeal too: I could never get tired of it. However, yesterday evening I decided to switch a bit and prepare myself a chia seed pudding to add to my stable breakfast.
In this recipe they’re mixed with açai powder, which comes from one of the most antioxidant superfoods in the world, famous for its help against fighting free radicals and for its wide range of benefits. Good for our taste and for our health too!
Ingredients for one serving:
- 1+!/2 tbsp of organic chia seeds (about 15g)
- your choice of milk (I used almond)
- 1 tbsp organic açai powder
- your choice of natural sweetener, such as stevia, agave, maple or honey (optional)
Pour all the dry ingredients into a glass, cover with milk and stir well. Let it sit in the fridge overnight, then eat cold the next morning.
I then added them to some oatmeal and topped with fresh berries.
